1. You will help us preserve traditional building techniques and restore and open up heritage sites to the public, including:

-activities aimed at saving historic parks and gardens in Slovakia — in particular, the restoration and opening to the public of the unique Koch Garden in Bratislava, the restoration and meaningful use of the historic greenhouses in Prügerka, and the organisation of the 18th annual Weekend of Open Parks and Gardens in Slovakia;
- preserving the traditional building techniques used to construct and maintain thatched roofs in Slovakia, and saving the last surviving house with a thatched roof in the village of Bartošova Lehôtka near Kremnica;
- the restoration of the Renaissance burgher’s house known as Rómer House, at 10 Zámočnícka Street in Bratislava, where the renowned archaeologist, historian, art historian, natural scientist, university professor and church dignitary Florián František Rómer was born in 1815.

2. You will help us build a more effective network of services supporting the restoration, maintenance and management of heritage sites:

- establishing a Help Centre for Owners of Historic Buildings and Sites and a Centre for Garden Culture and Landscape, which will be based in the restored house of Florián František Rómer at 10 Zámočnícka Street in Bratislava. Cultural and natural heritage is a matter of public interest, yet owners of heritage sites and natural areas often need practical assistance and reliable information;
- supporting owners of significant heritage properties — for example, helping with the restoration of the Andreansky noble manor house in Liptovský Ondrej, supporting the preservation of the protected surroundings of Liptovský Hrádok Castle and Manor House, and assisting with the restoration and appropriate future use of the Baroque manor house in Veľký Biel.

3. You will support education and the promotion of high-quality heritage restoration, including the heritage of the 20th century:

- our efforts to establish standards for the restoration of historic buildings and to provide information and education on high-quality heritage restoration and management;
 - nationwide initiatives raising awareness not only of well-known cultural heritage sites, but also of forgotten heritage and 20th-century buildings and sites, many of which are particularly vulnerable because their value to society is still not fully recognised or understood.

4. You will help us continue building a professional and independent organisation advocating for heritage — in Slovakia and internationally:

- we promote Slovak cultural heritage at European and global level through cross-border activities and our membership in the international network of National Trusts, the International National Trusts Organisation (INTO);
- inspired by successful National Trust models around the world, we continue to develop effective approaches to caring for Slovakia’s cultural and natural heritage. Our 30 years of experience, as well as the achievements we have made in this field, are evidence of our commitment and expertise;
- through practical models of heritage and site protection and restoration, we seek out and support effective solutions that can be applied more widely to heritage sites across Slovakia;
- your support will help us implement the international INTO Places programme in Slovakia, connecting Slovak heritage sites to an international network and promoting their meaningful and sustainable use.

5. Your support will enable us to involve more volunteers in saving and caring for heritage sites:

- National Trust n.o. has been successful thanks in large part to the hundreds of volunteers who have helped us protect and save heritage sites across Slovakia. With your support, we will be able to reach and work with an ever-growing number of volunteers and create more inspiring and meaningful volunteering opportunities.
