Koch´s Garden, sometimes known as Malé Mlyňany, is one of the few historical gardens in Slovakia that has preserved itself in almost its original form. It is a garden associated with numerous stories involving well-known and significant historical figures. Despite its unique cultural, natural, historical, artistic, urbanistic, and other values, its condition has gradually deteriorated since 2007, when the last gardener regularly worked there.

The National Trust n.o. has been regularly involving Koch's Garden in the Open Parks and Gardens Weekend event since 2007.
In the garden, we organize guided tours in collaboration with our guides - volunteers. Given that the garden has long suffered from a lack of regular systematic maintenance, in recent years we have organized many volunteer workdays here with the consent of the then owners.
Since 2022, ownership of Koch's Garden went to the City of Bratislava, with which we are currently working on a project for its restoration and meaningful use. Cooperation with the city is defined in the document Memorandum on Cooperation for the Restoration of Koch's Garden (http://Kochova zahrada_spolupraca NT HMB_2022.pdf)
The location can be visited for free, guided tours are charged or free depending on the type of event. Members of the National Trust and holders of a membership card with the logo of the International National Trusts Organisation receive a 50% discount on the paid guided tours with our guides! Free tours of Koch's Garden usually take place during the Open Parks and Gardens Weekend event.
